Traditional decorated rooms offer old-style comfort.
Our Review
At the Palace hotel you can enjoy classic Roman hospitality at a reasonable price. The beautiful décor belongs to a more elegant age, while the staff are friendly and helpful.
The Palace Hotel is housed in a majestic 7-storey building with a stunning white façade. When you enter, you cannot fail to notice its retro atmosphere. Then you realise that this is not contrived, but authentic: the building was in fact designed in the 1920s and the frescoes are from the 1930s, giving the property the feeling of a more elegant bygone era. The lobby is furnished in Belle Epoque style, with impressive high ceilings and chandeliers. All 94 guestrooms have a comfortable king-size bed, high ceilings, beechwood furnishings and a marble-top desk in classic Italian style. For both lunch and dinner, local and international cuisine awaits you at the luxurious restaurant Terrazza Cadorin. This elegantly understated space overlooks Via Veneto, in the centre of Rome, providing a feeling of privileged relaxation while at the same time making you feel like you’re right in the heart of Roman life. And for an afternoon chat or an after-dinner drink, you’ll find an oasis of tranquillity in the Lounge Bar, with frescoes by Cadorin depicting the lifestyle of the Roman upper classes in the 1930s.
